It’s now official
There is now a new owner of the mill in Fort Frances.
The town of Fort Frances reports the idled pulp and paper mill has been transferred to a company believed to be a subsidiary of Riversedge Development with interests from an unnamed local entity.
What becomes of the properties now has not yet been revealed.
A release from the town says its goal is still to see operations restart that makes use of local forest resources.
