A visitor to Quetico Provincial Park has died.
OPP say officers were called to Saganaga Lake near the Cache Bay Ranger Station Saturday at about 1 p.m. about a man in distress and needing CPR.
First responders from the Cook County Sheriff’s Department in Grand Marais, Minnesota, also attended because of the proximity of the incident to the U.S.
71-year-old Craig Sicard of Minnetonka, Minnesota would later be pronounced dead at the scene.
Police says his death is not being investigated as suspicious.
