Local Sports for Tuesday, November 29

The Fort Frances Muskies girls’ hockey team was in action in Kenora last night, returning home with a 15-2 victory over the Beaver Brae Broncos.

Kiera Fairington led the scoring with four goals.

Raelle Redford notched a hat trick and was credited with the game-winner.

Marlee Bliss had a five-point night with two assists and three goals.

Hayden Allam, Courtney McCoy, Jersey Calder, Ophelia Luca Engberg, Hailey Bombay and Marissa Kenney also added markers.

Ella Evans had three assists.

The Muskies led 4-1 after the first period and 11-2 after two.

Danielle Schramm was in net for the win.

Tonight, the Muskies boys team is scheduled to play the Broncos in Kenora.

The International Falls Broncos girls’ hockey team has a home game against Hibbing.

The game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Bronco Arena.
