Liberals Top Survey As Federal Election Looms

Suggestions of a fall election may lead to little change in the House of Commons.

The latest Angus Reid poll shows Justin Trudeau and the governing Liberal with 35 per cent support among decided voters.

That’s five percentage points higher than the Conservatives under Erin O’Toole.

The NDP sits third with 19 per cent.

Voters are divided on who is the best leader.

The Prime Minister is tops when it comes to managing the pandemic.

O’Toole is favoured for economic issues, while Jagmeet Singh is seen best when it comes to social and Indigenous issues.
