Hydro One is planning a lengthy power outage that will impact parts of the Rainy River District next week.
Hydro crews will be installing new equipment on October 16.
So they can work safely, the power will be cut for ten hours in the townships of Chapple, Onigaming First Nation, the municipality of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls, and the unorganized townships of Emo, Kingsford, Senn and Fleming.
The town of Emo is not impacted.
The outage will begin at 7 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m.
Hydro One says it is contacting customers who are directly impacted.
