Almost three months after it started, Kenora Fire #51 is now being held.
The blaze, the only one burning in the Kenora Fire District, is listed at 200,667 ha. It has been burning since June 8.
It is one of 79 active fires burning across the northwest.
Five of those are not under control, two are listed as being held, 14 are under control and 58 are being monitored.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says there were no new starts Monday or Tuesday.
The hazard remains mostly low, with a few pockets in the moderate range.
There have been 1,173 fires in Ontario to date this fire season.
