Keeping COVID At Bay In The Borderland Region

Just a single new case was reported yesterday within the Northwestern Health Unit’s area.

That being in the Sioux Lookout region.

There are now 42 active cases, split between Kenora and Sioux Lookout.

There are forty new cases in the Thunder Bay District where the Medical Officer of Health has issued an order forcing the need to self-isolate.

The active count is at 374.

In Minnesota, no cases were reported in Koochiching or Lake of the Woods Counties.

There were 443 new cases statewide, the lowest number in several months.

A vaccine from Johnson and Johnson has also been approved in the US for emergency use.

Health Canada has not yet approved it for use in Canada.
