International Space Station Suggested As Source Of Strange Lights

A possible explanation to those lights seen in the night sky in the Rainy River district on the weekend.

It may have been the International Space Station.

A NASA website that tracks the station’s movement says it can be seen most nights in our area at around 11 o’clock from now until early June. It is viewable for about 5 to 7 minutes each night.

Photos taken of other sightings also appear similar to one taken and provided to 93.1 The Border by Curtis Cochrane.

Some have suggested the lights were Elon Musk’s Starlink satellites, but in those images it’s often a string of lights instead of just one as shown in Cochrane’s photographs.
