Inquiry Asks Political Leaders To Implement Calls To Action

The National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls is calling on Canada’s political leaders to accept and act on its report.

It comes after comments from Conservative leader Andrew Sheer who questions the finding of genocide in describing the high number of deaths and disappearance of Indigenous women and girls.

In a statement, the Inquiry says all political leaders need to work together to end the violence.
