Another 55 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Thursday by the Northwestern Health Unit.
Sixteen of those cases are in the Fort Frances area.
Three are in the Rainy River Health Hub.
Two others are in the Emo area, with one located in the Atikokan area.
The Health Unit also reports nine people in hospital with the virus.
In Ontario, there were more than 34-hundred hospitalizations.
In Minnesota, Koochiching County reported twelve new cases while Lake of the Woods County added three.
