Impaired driving charge laid following collision

An impaired driving charge has been laid in connection with a collision in Fort Frances.

OPP says a vehicle came into contact with a parked vehicle in the 300 block of First Street East Wednesday evening.

A 24-year-old woman was charged.

She was also taken to hospital for treatment of injuries resulting from the collision.

She was later released from police custody and is scheduled to be in court at the end of the month.
