Another fishing tournament in the area has been cancelled because of the pandemic.
In a letter, organizers with the International Falls Bass Championship say they explored every avenue possible in trying to make the tournament a possibility this year.
But it notes recent events made it difficult to ensure the health and safety for everyone.
They also felt with business suffering during the pandemic it didn’t feel right asking them to continue their sponsorship for this year.
