Hunter Rescued in Minnesota

A safe ending for a hunter who became stuck south of Crane Lake on Saturday.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says the man attempted to walk across a partially frozen swampy area when he got stuck in waist-deep water and unable to free himself.

Area first responders and law enforcement were able to locate and free him using the Crane Lake Fire Department’s ARGO.

He was then transported to hospital after showing symptoms of hypothermia.
