There is still no resolution to a human rights complaint that was brought upon the Township of Emo two years ago.
Borderland Pride filed the complaint after township council, in a split vote, refused to adopt a resolution to recognize Pride Month.
Mayor Harold McQuaker and two township councillors were also named in the allegation.
Borderland Pride says the case has not yet been heard by the Human Rights Tribunal, noting the only material filed by the municipality has been a brief response to the claim.
The township revealed during a council meeting last night that it has spent $38 thousand on legal fees related to the issue.
