Highway 17 is once again open after being shut down for about 8 hours last night.
The highway was closed all the way from the east entrance of the Kenora By-pass to Vermillion Bay.
The MTO says the closure was due to a collision.
The collision was first reported around 6 p.m. and the Trans-Canada was finally opened around 2 a.m.
There is no word yet if the were an injuries.
