Hall of Fame Bound

Two curlers, originally from Stratton, are being inducted into the Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame.

Trevor Bonot and his sister, Jackie Bonot McCormick, will head to the Hall with their curling teammates, Kory Carr and Megan Westlund Carr, from their 2017 mixed curling team.

The team won the Canadian Mixed Curling Championship that year, then earned silver at the World Championship.

The medal was a first for a Canadian team.

Official ceremonies will be held on September 17 in Thunder Bay.
