The OPP say they have arrested three people for drug-related charges.

Around 1:45 a.m. on Sept. 23, officers conducted a traffic stop and discovered a backpack containing a substance suspected to be cocaine as well as drug paraphenalia.

According to a release, one of the accused also provided false identification.

Three people, including a 38-year-old from Fort Frances as well as two 27-year-olds from Couchiching First Nation and Seine First Nation respectively, are being charged with drug possession as well as other offences.

Police say the suspects have been released from custody and will appear in court on November 3.
