Ford Troubled Over Vaccine Shortage

There is a huge concern from Premier Doug Ford that Canada will not get any COVID-19 vaccines next week.

Ford is very upset about the situation and hopes the prime minister is pushing Pfizer on the matter.

“If I was in his shoes, I’d be on that (phone) every single day (with Pfizer). I’d be up that guy’s ying-yang so far with a firecracker he wouldn’t know what hit him. I would not stop until we get these vaccines,” exclaims Ford.

The Premier calls the news from the federal government “troubling” and a “massive concern.”

However, Doug Ford claims despite limits on supplies, the province has made “incredible progress” over the last four weeks.

“We’re emptying the freezers on what we’ve received so far. We’re getting needles into people’s arms and we’re focusing on our most vulnerable,” says Ford.

Ford notes they have met their target of getting all long-term care homes in the province’s four hardest-hit regions vaccinated by January 21.
