As Canada waits for the next shipment of the Pfizer Bio-N-Tech COVID-19 vaccine, Ontario’s Premier wants our country to start producing vaccines.
Doug Ford feels it should be produced here, in case another pandemic hits.
“Rather than rely on other people around the world that dictate what we get, I think the power of Ontario and Canada as a whole, there is no reason we shouldn’t be able to have our own vaccine in the future,” says Ford.
The government reports those who’ve had the Pfizer vaccine will get their next one in 21 days. Everyone else will get the shot in the arm in no more than 42 days.
Canada will see a reduced number in the next vaccine shipment as Pfizer expands its European manufacturing facility.
