It is officially tax time in Minnesota.
Minnesotan can begin filing their state and federal income tax returns until the deadline on April 18.
Those earning $73 thousand or less can qualify for free tax preparation services and free electronic filing.
At the end of January, free tax preparation sites will be open through either the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and AARP Tax-Aide programs.
In International Falls, a free AARP site will open January 31 at the Backus Community Center.
