Anyone landing at a Canadian airport is now subject to greater COVID-19 scrutiny.
The government says starting today, travellers will be required to take a COVID-19 test using a self-swab kit.
This test can be done at the traveller’s quarantine location or at a border testing site. All travellers must quarantine for three days at an approved nearby hotel paid for at their expense.
This is on top of the already required proof of a negative test result within 72 hours of entry.
