Feds Happy With Canada Summer Jobs Program

The federal government is glowing about the success of its Canada Summer Jobs program.

Employment Minister Patty Hajdu says over 8-thousand businesses across Canada received financial support to hire young people this summer.

That led to the creation of 19,500 jobs opportunities.

The program this year was also expanded to include young people aged 15 to 30.

That led to over 85-hundred jobs being approved for funding this year.
