Falls Airport Funding Still Alive

A capital investment bill that includes funding for the Falls International Airport continues to wind its way through the Minnesota legislature.

The over one billion dollar bonding bill received approval from the House Capital Investment Committee Tuesday.

It includes a million dollars for the Falls airport to use toward a major upgrade of its runway and taxi-way.

The bill now heads to the House Ways and Means Committee.
