Falcon Gold to resume drilling

A potential gold-rich bearing area near Atikokan will get some attention in the next year.

Falcon Gold plans to resume a drilling program at its Canada Central site.

This will include drilling up to 2,000 meters at the historic mine site, situated close to Agnico Eagle’s Hammond Reef gold deposit.

The work was scheduled for 2022, but flood waters blocked access.

That forced the company to divert resources to an exploration project in Newfoundland.

Falcon Gold says it has already drilled 17 holes at the Canada Central project that confirmed a strong presence of gold-bearing ore.
