The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario is upping its job action to back demands for a new contract with the province.
Beginning tomorrow, public elementary teachers are moving to what the union calls Phase 6 of its job action.
Teachers won’t be taking on any additional workload, including not filling in for absences normally done by occasional teachers and education workers.
Teachers also won’t be spending their own money on classroom supplies.
ETFO is also giving the province until March 6 to reach a deal before it considers further job action.
