The emergency department at Riverside Health Care’s Rainy River Health Centre is back open.
It had been shut down for five months due to a break of a sprinkler line which caused significant water damage.
It forced the hospital to relocate the emergency department to some inpatient rooms.
With the work now done, beds in those rooms are once again available for patient admissions.
