Drug bust in Kenora, one man faces charges

A joint investigation by police officers from Kenora OPP, Treaty Three Police and Winnipeg Police Service has resulted in a major drug bust.

Back on December 10th police attempted to pull over a vehicle on Highway 17 near Kenora but the driver failed to stop. Police later arrested a suspect at a home in Keewatin.

A search of the home found cocaine, crack cocaine and psilocybin (better known as magic mushrooms) with a street value of approximately $90,000.

A Selkirk Manitoba man has been remanded in custody on a number of charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
