The leader of the provincial Liberals says he hasn’t forgotten about the northwest.
Stephen Del Duca says Thunder Bay was the last place he visited before lockdown last March, and he’s keeping in touch with Thunder Bay-Superior North Liberal rep Michael Gravelle.
“I feel like we’ve got a good sort of finger on the pulse of what’s been taking place up there. I know there’s been a lot of challenges throughout the pandemic for people in Thunder Bay and beyond. But I am looking forward to being up there again in the not-too-distant future,” Del Duca says.
Del Duca says the party is still looking for potential candidates for the Thunder Bay-Atikokan riding.
“We haven’t landed on that individual just yet, but we’re going to keep working harder until we do,” he notes.
The party Leader indicates Michael Gravelle expects to run to keep his seat again in the 2022 election.
