The deadline to nominate someone for Fort Frances’ citizen of the year awards has been extended.
It was to be this Friday.
But with it being National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, the town will accept nominations until Monday at 4 p.m.
Nomination forms for citizen of the year and junior citizen of the year are available on the town’s website and at the Civic Centre.
If no nominations are submitted, it will be up to the awards’ committee to name someone for the awards.
