The city of International Falls has narrowed the search for a new administrator down to two candidates.
They are Betty Bergstrom and Scott Hildebrand.
Bergstrom has worked with the city since 1998 and is currently its deputy city administrator.
Hildebrand is the town clerk with the town of Osceola, Wisconsin.
Mayor Harley Droba says sixteen applications were received for the job left vacant by Ken Anderson who recently retired.
The city’s review committee intends to conduct final interviews next week before coming to a recommendation.
