Nine people will be on the ballot for Chief when Couchiching First Nation residents head to the polls later this year.
A nomination meeting was held last night.
Among the candidates is incumbent Brian Perrault who is seeking a second term.
Twenty-eight other people have put their name forward for one of six councillor positions up for grabs.
Elections will be held March 4.
