The 2023 Women’s World Hockey Championship will be played in Canada.
The IIHF announced yesterday that the tournament will return to our country, but a host city has yet to be determined.
Last summer, the event was played in Calgary in front of no fans.
It was supposed to be in Halifax, but the provincial government cancelled it due to health restrictions.
This year’s event goes later this month in Denmark.
The United States will host the 2024 tournament.
