Canada Surpasses 15,000 COVID-19 Deaths

The country is reaching a sombre milestone with the 15,000th death related to COVID-19.

Canada hit 15,001 deaths today as Quebec reported 37 more people have passed away from complications of the virus.

Over half of Canada’s deaths happened in Quebec, where the virus has killed just over 8,000 people.

Ontario has registered nearly 4,400 deaths.

Both provinces have around 20,000 active cases as of Monday.
