Canada Revenue Agency Scam Back

An annoying scam claiming you owe money to the Canada Revenue Agency has returned to the Rainy River district.

It’s often in the form of a telephone call.

The fraudster demands immediate payment and threatens that you will be arrested, fined or even deported if you don’t comply.

They’re often asking for payment on the spot through credit card, money transfers or even gift cards.

The Canada Revenue Agency has said it doesn’t do business that way nor threatens anyone for payment.
