Business Expo Opens Today

Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce Business and Community Expo begins later today.

It’s again at the Fort Frances Curling Club.

The Chambers Jennifer Soderholm says a number of new businesses and organizations will be taking part.

Some local organizations will also be using the event as fundraisers and promotional opportunities.

Got the rainy lake gymnastics academy who’s coming out.

“We’ve got the Rainy Lake Gymnastics Academy coming out. They’re doing some promotional stuff to raise funds for the organization,” says Soderholm. “The Lion’s Club will be there to do their jail and bail and we also have the Kiwanis club coming out to do the mini donuts and everybody loves those.”

“We do have some that came last year that are back likely Lake Life adventures which does a lot of the pontoon boat trips around different lakes. We alos have the Lake of the Woods women’s walleye tournament that’s coming down to do some advertising for that tournament.”

The Expo goes from 4 p.m to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m to 4 p.m. tomorrow.
