Booze Shortage At LCBO

Ontario Public Service Employees Union calling for the firing of LCBO chair Carmine Nigro.

The call comes in the wake of widespread alcohol shortages at LCBO outlets across the province.

The shortage is being blamed on a new warehouse management system at a distribution centre in southern Ontario.

OPSEU head Warren ‘Smokey’ Thomas says workers warned of problems long before the system was put in place and its failure ultimately rests on the LCBO chair.
