Bivalent Vaccine Available Across All Age Groups

Now that Health Canada has approved the Pfizer bivalent vaccine, Ontario residents, 12 and older, are eligible to get the shot starting Oct. 17.

The latest version of the dual-strain vaccine is available to anyone in Ontario aged 12 and up.

Those interested in getting it in tandem with the flu shot can. The province has stated that flu shots may safely be given at the same time, or at any time before or after COVID-19 vaccine, this includes kids 5 years and up.

Booking a vaccine appointment can be done through the province’s “online booking tool”.
