Back To A Real Classroom On Monday

It will be back to a regular classroom on Monday for hundreds of Fort Frances area students.

Schools that have been shut down since the Christmas holidays will be allowed to reopen.

A surge in COVID-19 cases in Fort Frances prompted schools between Mine Centre and Stratton to stay closed after the Christmas holidays, with students having to learn remotely.

The Northwestern Health Unit’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Kit Young Hoon, says that surge is now declining.
