Awards Night Nears

The nominees are in for this year’s Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

Nine awards will be handed out on February 13.

Fort Frances GM, Boston Pizza and Gillons Insurance are up for Large Business of the Year.

Sight and Sound, the Bayview Motel, Causeway General Insurance, Fort Frances General Supply, NCDS and Curvy Chick are nominated for the Small Business of the Year Award.

For Businesswoman of the Year, Sarah Noonan, Allison Brechtenfeld, Jennifer Horton, Pamela Williams and Charmaine Langlais are the nominees.

Causeway General Insurance, Fort Frances General Supply, Boston Pizza, Green’s BrandSource and Curvy Chick have been nominated for the Customer Service, Business, Award.

Crystal McPherson and Kasey Beaushene both with Causeway Insurance, Todd Moxham with Cater 2 U and Kirk Petrin of Shopper Drug Mart are the nominees for the Customer Service, Individual, Award.

In the Home-Based Business Category, the nominees are It Must Be A Sign, Party Rock Sound Services, Rodan and Fields and Peter Howie.

Causeway Insurances and the Bayview Motel have been nominated for New Business. Both were taken over by new owners in the past year.

For Small Business Trainer, Ed Kaun and Sons, North West Flying, Tompkins Hardware and PARO have been nominated.

McTaggarts, Gillons Insurance, NCDS, Green’s BrandSource, Fort Frances Dental Centre and Sight and Sound are up for the Test of Time Award

Tickets for the events are now on sale at NCDS and Causeway Insurance.
