A recent timber auction in Koochiching County has netted it more than $570-thousand.
More than 20-thousand cords of timber were auctioned off sold during the February 5 auction despite three tracks of land going unsold.
Land Commissioner Nathan Heibel says there was a slight uptick in prices but the auction still netted about the same as past years.
