Applications are now being accepted for financial aid through the new Northwestern Livestock Emergency Assistance initiative.
It was created to help farmers, specifically in the Rainy River and Kenora districts suffering from drought conditions.
Money is being made available to offset costs of bringing in feed, water or creating new grazing areas.
The deadline to apply is September 30.
