Another smokey day for Atikokan

The smoke is returning to the Atikokan area.

It continues to be from those fires burning over the southern portions of Quetico Park.

An advisory from Environment Canada says smoke drifting into the community will be intermittent.

A shift in the wind later today should help move it away.

Cool, wet weather helped forest firefighting crews over the weekend.

There were only three new starts reported since Friday.
