Another Positive Case Of COVID-19 In The Rainy River District

One new case of COVID-19 in the Rainy River District.

The Northwestern Health Unit says they confirmed the report this morning.

That’s on top of 18 new cases over the weekend.

There are now 51active cases in the area with 27 in Rainy River and 22 in Kenora and two in the Dryden/Red Lake area.

There have been 223 cases since the start of the pandemic.

From January 4th to 10th, a total of 2,675 tests were completed with a test positivity rate of 1.68-per cent.

Province-wide a total of 3,338 new cases are being reported Monday with 29 more deaths.
