Another Death In Area Related To Virus

No new cases of COVID-19 are being reported by the Northwestern Health Unit.

Five cases are still active, including two in the Rainy River district.

Just a single new case of COVID-19 reported in Minnesota’s Koochiching County, but there’s also been another death related to the virus there.

The state’s health department says the person was between the age of 65 and 69.

It’s the County’s eight such death.

There are more cases to add to the numbers in the Thunder Bay Region.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting nine new cases.

All of them came into close contact with someone with the illness and are self-isolating.

The district’s active caseload, though, has dropped to 103 from 115 the day before.
