The Cantilever Hotel and Distillery in Rainer is getting set for an opening.
Some final work on the facility is taking place.
It includes a 31-room hotel, cocktail room and distillery and kitchen.
The distillery has already started to produce spirits.
Marty Goulet is one of the founders and says the excitement around the opening is building.
“It’s going to be a beautiful building. It’s going to hit on all of the elements that we wanted to which really showcasing the area, showcasing the history, telling the story of our brand,” says Goulet.
Goulet says they’ve also been taking reservations for the hotel on their website and already have a number of bookings for early January.
Developers take the complex’s name from the cantilever rail bridge that links Rainer with Fort Frances.
