A new survey commissioned by the Tire and Rubber Association of Canada showed moderate acceptance of the use of winter tires in Ontario.
The Association’s winter survey finds 69 per cent of Ontario motorists now ride on winter tires.
That’s the same as it was in last year’s survey.
Among those not using winter tire, 47 per cent feel all-seasons are good-enough.
The Association says that’s a myth noting winter tires better retain flexibility even in cold condition.
