Watch For Wildlife

Some concern from OPP about the number of motor vehicle collisions in the Rainy River district involving wildlife.

In the Atikokan area, police reported six accidents over a seven day period where vehicles struck moose.

The animals died in each case.

Police say drivers need to be vigilant while driving, especially during the dusk to dawn timeframe.
