That is the case for places to the north like Kenora, Dryden and Red Lake.
A spokesperson from Elections Canada tells 93.1 The Border because the Thunder Bay-Rainy River riding crosses two time zones, a decision was made to stay with the 9:30 to 9:30 voting period in both areas.
