Facts About Thunder Bay-Rainy River Riding

The Thunder Bay-Rainy River riding is one of the longest ridings in the country.

It stretches nearly 450 kilometres and covering more than 39.5 square kilometres between Thunder Bay and the town of Rainy River.

There are roughly 65-thousand eligible voters.

A majority of them live in the south side of Thunder Bay.

Since it was formed in 2004, the Liberals have held the riding three of the last five elections.
