Couchiching Raiders are another step closer to reaching the final of the Rainy River District Women’s Fastball League playoffs.
Raiders eliminated Northwest Bay in a lopsided game to advance in the loser’s bracket.
They will now face the Renegades on Monday for the right to play the Fort Frances Her-ricanes for the championship.
Fort Frances Muskies football team is getting ready for a new season.
Practices will start on Monday at the high school, 6-8 p.m. each weeknight until the start of school.
All students from grades 9 to 12 are welcome to attend.
